Dr. Yashodhara Parsad is Associate Professor in the Department of English at JD Women's College, Patna. Her several research papers have been published and she attended many seminars. She teaches British Literature and Cultural Studies, her special research interest is in the contemporary British novel. She has lectured, taught intensive courses and participated in conferences at many European universities. In her teaching and research she introduced new linguistics disciples following the latest trends in language studies such as pragmatics, discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics and stylistics.
