Dancing snail is an illustrator and a picture essay author. She's a black belter at learning about life through American Dramas. Being a homebody is her nature and destiny, and she likes to draw pictures that hide wit within depression.

Dancing Snail has drawn illustrations for many books, including I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki, It's Okay to Just Overflow, I Want to Be Alone but Don't Want to Be Lonely, and The Science of Introverts (And Extroverts and Everyone In-Between).

Ms. Chua, or Yen as she's usually called, teaches Korean to primary, secondary, and tertiary-level students. She received her Master's degree in Korean Education from Korean University. She's currently working on her doctorate in Language Education at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
