Franklin Short is a noted tourism author and Senior Lecturer of Tourism Studies. He completed his MBA in Transportation and Tourism Management from International Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Jordan. His qualifications include M.T.A., Ph. D and IATA diplomas. He has worked for Higher Education, in the Faculty of Tourism; and as Head of Tourism at School of Tourism and Hospitality, Jordan. His research interest include safety and security issues and consumer behaviour in the travel and tourism industry. Through his published books, journal articles, professional papers, and technical reports, he is recognized as a leader in the commercial recreation field.
