Ruby F. Alminar-Mutya, DBA, CPME is the current chairperson of the Department of Leisure and Tourism Management at Miriam College and teaches at the College of Business, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy. She handles marketing and management courses for business administration and tourism programs. She is a Certified Professional Marketing Educator granted by the Philippine Marketing Association. She previously taught at the Philippine School of Business Administration. As an educator, she was a finalist in the provincial category of Metrobank Foundation's Search for Outstanding Teacher in 2016, and in the Junior Faculty category of Miriam College's President's Awards for Teaching Excellence in 2015 and 2017. She was a recipient of the Outstanding Finance Educator-Philippines Award for 2013-2014 from the Financial Executives of the Philippines (FINEX) Research and Development Foundation, Inc. and Deloitte/ Navarro-Amper and Associates and an Outstanding Educator Award in the Field of Marketing, National Capital Region from the Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB) in 2009. In addition to this title, she has also written the following books: Fundamentals of Advertising, Introduction to Marketing, Introduction to Philippine Money, Credit and Banking, Business Finance: Management Approach, Economics with Agrarian Reform and Taxation.
